Brief Encounters – Real Men Vol. 17

Brief Encounters is a sure hit that aims to get you off and gives viewers an ample dose of real men.  This production by Pantheon Productions and directed by Walter Romero, is a testosterone packed joyride that is worth every penny (or Euro, Yen, etc.).  In line with the other releases by Pantheon, Brief Encounters features mainly 40 and older performers combined with a few young studs too.  But don’t be fooled, sex is like fine wine, and these men are aged to full, dick-pounding action perfection. The DVD is a series of vignettes, each clearly focused on what underwear does best to a hot man – which is to highlight and show off a hunk’s assets, both back and front.  The view is always too much to handle for the protagonists, and leads to some intense, man-on-man loving that is one part romantic and two parts intense sex and definitely very sweaty.  This is a formula that works well for this film and gives Mr. Romero’s work a unique characteristic of appealing to both couples and singles alike; without sacrificing erotic intensity for either party. Regardless of your sexual affiliation, after watching the scene featuring Matthew Rush, you’ll be sure to go to the polls early. Rather your pole will elect to buy this film.

Now onto the details...

Brief Encounters opens up with a super-mega hottie, Matthew Rush.  What more can be said about this man.  If you don’t find him sexy, you’re either racist or have no dick (my opinion).  Regardless of this silly queen’s thoughts, Mr. Rush gives one hell of a performance as both a TOP and a BOTTOM.  Yes gents, those mocha buns are popped hard by power-Daddy, Tim Kelly.  Tim gives Matthew some fur covered fucking that is hard-core. It will be sure to make you explode at the first thrust.  After watching it, I wanted to shoot off an e-mail to Pantheon to see if Mr. Rush’s ass was ok. He really got fucked. It’s nice to see a secure, bodybuilder type guy take it hard and deep. Mathew also gives the viewer a bit of connection and humanity, by his very sensual kissing and oral action to his co-star, mega daddy Tim Kelly. I’m a realist and realize that Mathew Rush is a porn star and some form of compensation must have occurred. But when you finish this scene you will think he was doing it for free with his own boyfriend, hubby, partner, or whatever man-on-man term you wish to use. Also, Mr. Tim Kelly is the personification of muscle bear daddy type with a dose of Tom of Findland thrown into the package.

The other stories are equally hot and notable mention goes to both the cast and director in making this so. Brief Encounters also stars; Tim Kelly, Derrick Hanson, Massimo Forte, Nick Moretti, Steve Parker, Tony Daniels, Allen Silver, and Conner Habib. The scene with Conner Habib and Nick Morretti is a sizzler and sure to ignite serious spurt action in your lower extremities. On a serious note, the scene shows a loving couple doing some extra-curricular activities at an oh so naughty sex club. The scene satisfies both vanilla and hardcore lovers alike. They lovingly get nasty and the daddy tells his boyfriend he wants to first fuck him in public and then share the love with the other club members. I liked this a lot because the film stressed safe sex. I think that is an all too important factor missing from gay adult films today.

The movie caters to a lot of hot underwear fetish fantasies, but doesn’t fall into the tired dialogue traps that so many adult films fall into. You won’t have to listen to “I don’t have any money to pay for the pizza,” or “I’m straight, and never sucked a dick before,” bullshit. Rather Mr. Romero gives us well thought out lines and scenarios that are plausible and gives a shout out to the classic films of the 1970’s where men were men, bears had muscle, and bottoms took it like a man (no questions asked). Both Pantheon and Mr. Romero go further and add the icing to this very erotic piece of beefcake, by having the script be pro-gay. That’s right guys; you will see no San Diego , gay-for-pay man whores with their Malibu Ken doll tans and the personalities to go with it. However, you will see mature gay men loving and lovingly fucking one another in a safe fashion that is proud to be gay, yet masculine enough to appeal to the non-rainbow flag gay pride crowd. Yes Virginia , you can watch this movie in your red state closet and feel very much like a man.  Also, leather daddies and the kink crowd will feel very much at home with this video and it’s storyline.>

I won’t ruin the rest. This reviewer’s recommendation is that Brief Encounters is a hot flick to get you off and perfect for your dirty dresser drawer collection. It also highlights the diverse and hot talents of mature performers who beat guys in my generation, hands down (or should I say butts up?).  As an A&F guy in his mid-twenties, I know what I’m asking Santa for Xmas this year; a weekend with the daddies of this studio. I know they can teach college guys like me some new tricks.  BLULIFE.com applauds their efforts and those of Pantheon for showing diversity in gay adult male cinema with less focus on younger men.  No disrespect to twinks and their admirers, but a good man aged right beats a young punk any day (again, my opinion).
